When you buy a new (or new-to-you) car, you have much to consider. Each Indiana driver has his own list of what he’s looking for. However, when you’re shopping for a vehicle, consider how well that car holds its value. If down the road you decide, “Hey, I want to sell my car,” you want to get as much out of it as possible.
Before you make a purchase, we at Indy Cash for Cars encourage you to consider these three cars. Experts have indicated that these models tend to have higher resale value than others of their kind. (And yes…Honda kind of swept the competition on this list…)
1. Honda Fit
If you’re looking for a small car with good fuel efficiency, the Honda Fit may be a good option for you. This subcompact car may be tiny, but it maximizes the space it has. The Honda Fit is also known to have zippy acceleration and to be fun to drive.
2. Honda Civic
The Honda Civic is a car that is often on the top of buyers’ lists when trying to find a vehicle that’s affordable, reliable, and retains its value. Kelley Blue Book indicates that the 2013 Honda Civic retains just over 62% of its original value, even after three years.
3. Honda Accord
While a bit more expensive than its Civic or Fit counterparts, the Honda Accord continues to be a favorite amongst new and used car buyers looking for a mid-sized car. The newer model Accords have many upgrades, making them sportier and sleeker than their older versions. Most Honda Accords retain at least half their original value.
